In addition to music and media, Joyce is also passionate about social and economic
development and desires to use her gifts to influence lasting change in Kenya. She
double majored in Economics and Integrated International Studies for her
undergraduate studies at Knox College in Illinois. In May 2015, she graduated with
honors and a Master of Science in International Development from the prestigious
Georgetown University in Washington DC.

In September 2019, Joyce was invited to attend the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s
Goalkeepers event in NY, USA which brings together a new generation of leaders to
accelerate progress towards the global Sustainable Development Goals.
